Those who have newer Nvidia graphic cards should give a try worked for me. But, I've NEVER got it to work correctly. Basically, you only need to download a small file d3d8.dll (286 kb) and put it in the installation folder of Rome Total War. file in the game trying to get it to work properly. ![]() and trust me.I hacked every parameter in every ini, cfg, etc. ![]() If it weren't for the backup monitor, I wouldn't be able to play any TW games at all! My main on a big widescreen monitor, and my backup that's a regular 4:3 CRT monitor. The 'widescreen' that 'works' for some people is a highly bastardized and terrible looking stretched 4:3 resolution. TW games do not currently support widescreen. I guarantee that you'll get a response something along the lines of "TW does not support widescreen resolutions".just like I've received 3-4 times now.even with that nifty "widescreen" check box in the options.
